What Counts as Car Detailing (and What Does Not)
A car wash cleans the outside surface quickly. Car detailing is slower and more thorough work: vacuuming and wiping every interior surface, hand washing the paint, cleaning wheels, tires, glass, door jambs and trim, and finishing the details a drive-through never touches. The goal is a vehicle that looks and feels clean up close, not just from across the parking lot. I do not offer car washes, so this page is about details and the longer-term protection that goes with them.
Pick Your Detail: Interior, Exterior, Full, or Protection
Most Omaha drivers fall into one of four groups. If the cabin is the problem, start with an interior detail. If the paint, wheels and glass look tired, an exterior detail brings them back. If you want both in one visit, book the Full Detail. And if you want protection that lasts, look at ceramic coating, paint correction or window tint. Here is how they compare:
| Detail | What is included | Where and time | Price (sedan to 3-row) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Interior Detail | Vacuum, wipe-down of panels, door panels, console, cup holders, floor mats, interior glass | Mobile · est. 1.5 to 2 hours | $170 to $285 |
| Exterior Detail | Hand wash, wheels, tires and tire shine, exterior glass, door jambs, trim | Mobile · a couple of hours | $99 to $149 |
| Full Detail | The interior and exterior details together in one visit | Mobile · plan for a few hours | $275 to $355 |
| Ceramic Coating | Optimum Hyper Shine coating, applied by me | Drop-off in Omaha, Mon–Fri | $750 to $820 |
| Paint Correction | Machine polishing for swirls, scratches and oxidation | Drop-off in Omaha, Mon–Fri | From $275, quote to confirm |
| Window Tint | Film for front, middle and rear windows, sunstrip and windshield | Mobile or drop-off · 1 to 2 hours, up to 3 | See tint prices below |
How Much Does Car Detailing Cost in Omaha?
A mobile car detail with Prima runs from $99 for a sedan exterior detail to $355 for a Full Detail on a 3-row SUV, depending on the package and your vehicle size. These are the prices from my online booking shop:
Mobile package prices (Sedan / SUV / Truck / 3-Row SUV):
Full Detail $275 / $315 / $325 / $355
Interior Detail $170 / $201 / $230 / $285
Exterior Detail $99 / $119 / $129 / $149
Ceramic coating (drop-off in Omaha): $750 / $780 / $800 / $820
Add-ons: pet hair removal from $100, seat shampoo and extraction $75, carpet shampoo and extraction $75, leather cleaning and conditioning $75. Paint correction: from $275, quote to confirm.
Current prices are always shown in the online booking shop.
Four things change the price: the package, the vehicle size (sedan, SUV, truck or 3-row SUV), the condition of the vehicle, and add-ons such as pet hair removal. Pet hair and heavily soiled interiors take longer. If you are curious how coating prices work, I wrote up what drives the price of ceramic coating in Omaha.
Mobile or Drop-Off?
Details and window tint can be done at your location. Ceramic coating and paint correction are drop-off services in Omaha, Monday through Friday, because they need a controlled space and cure time; I do not offer them at your driveway. Window tint can go either way, and a drop-off tint appointment avoids the $30 mobile fee. Read more about how mobile detailing works.
Window Tint at a Glance
Tint is the one service where I can list every price up front. Most jobs take 1 to 2 hours, and up to 3 for some vehicles. See the full details on the window tint page, or mobile window tinting in Omaha if you want me to come to you.
Window tint prices:
Front two windows $160 · Middle two windows $160 · Rear window $170
Windshield sunstrip $45 · Full front windshield $175 · Mobile fee +$30 (drop-off avoids it)
How Booking Works
I take appointments Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. I am closed on weekends, so there are no weekend slots. Pick your package and vehicle size in the online booking shop, choose an open weekday, and I will confirm the details. For a mobile detail I need access to the vehicle and enough room to open the doors. I bring my own water and power, so there is nothing to hook up. If you live in an apartment or an HOA, check that outside service is allowed in your lot first.
In winter, the rule is simple. At 32°F or warmer I come to you. Below freezing, details move to a drop-off appointment in Omaha unless you have a heated garage I can work in.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does car detailing cost in Omaha?
Mobile details with Prima run from $99 for a sedan exterior detail up to $355 for a 3-row SUV Full Detail. An Interior Detail is $170 / $201 / $230 / $285 (sedan, SUV, truck, 3-row SUV), and an Exterior Detail is $99 / $119 / $129 / $149.
What is the difference between an interior detail, an exterior detail and a full detail?
An interior detail cleans the cabin: vacuuming, panels, door panels, console, cup holders, mats and interior glass. An exterior detail is a hand wash with wheels, tires, exterior glass, door jambs and trim. A full detail does both in one visit.
How long does a detail take?
An interior detail is estimated at 1.5 to 2 hours. An exterior detail takes a couple of hours, and a Full Detail takes a few hours depending on size and condition. Window tint takes 1 to 2 hours, up to 3.
How often should I get my car detailed in Nebraska?
A maintenance exterior detail every 4 to 6 weeks keeps paint and wheels in good shape. Interior timing depends on how you use the vehicle, and a good time for an interior detail is after the salt season ends.
Is mobile detailing as good as a shop?
For interior, exterior and full details, yes: the work is the same hand work, done at your location while you carry on with your day. Ceramic coating and paint correction are different. Those are drop-off in Omaha so they can be done in a controlled space.
Do you need my water or electricity?
No. I bring my own water, power, equipment and products. I just need access to the vehicle and room to open the doors.
Do you remove pet hair and odors?
Yes, as add-ons. Pet hair removal starts at $100, and odor elimination is $75. Heavily soiled interiors take longer, so mention it when you book.
Do you do ceramic coating at my house?
No. Ceramic coating is drop-off in Omaha, Monday through Friday. I apply every coating myself.
Do you work in winter?
Yes, at 32°F or warmer. Below freezing, mobile appointments default to drop-off in Omaha unless you have a heated garage I can work in.
Can I book a Saturday?
No. Appointments are Monday through Friday only, and I am closed on weekends.
